While the vehicle was towing a float, the engine burst into flames for no apparent reason. In typical fashion, the embarrassing event was quickly caught on tape and diligently uploaded to Youtube for thousands to see.
Thankfully, the fire was quickly extinguished and the parade continued without incident.
