According to a recent report, the Ferrari 599 successor will have a 6.3-liter V12 engine with upwards of 700 hp (522 kW / 710 PS).
We've already seen the Ferrari 599 successor on the Fiorano circuit, but we're just starting to learn new information about it.
According to Autocar, the next-generation model - dubbed the F152 - will feature a retuned 6.3-liter V12 engine from the Ferrari FF. Nothing is official, but sources are indicating that it will likely produce upwards of 700 hp (522 kW / 710 PS).
If that hasn't tickled your fancy, the 599 replacement will reportedly be lighter than the current model. Despite this, the car is expected to use an aluminum monoque instead of the carbon fiber setup featured in the Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador.
No word on when the car will be introduced, but Ferrari has previously confirmed it will be a 2012 model.
