Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg gave home town magazine Teknikensvarld first crack at their stunning Agera R.
Seen in motion for the first time, auto journalist Erik Gustafsson gives us a taste of what it's like to be behind the wheel of the hypercar with 1115 PS (1099 hp / 820 kW) and 1200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque. Unforunately for us he's speaking Swedish, but that doesn't stop us from understanding. The smile on his face says it all.
The Agera R was a top attraction at the recent Geneva International Motor Show where it made its world premiere. It's equipped with twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which enables the 1330 kg (2932 lb) projectile to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.9 seconds, 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) in 7.5 seconds, 0-200-0 km/h in 12.7 seconds and on to a top speed in excess of 390 km/h (245 mph).
Nothing official, but the Agera R is expected to ring up at the cash register for €1,000,000 ($1,418,935 / £871,640). And don't forget that wonky custom carbon fiber roof box which costs €20,000 ($28,952 / £17,673).
