Following a bankruptcy and takeover by Mahindra, Ssangyong has unveiled the redesigned Chairman H.
Created to evoke "class and prestige," the Chairman features a "New Classic" design which borrows more than a few cues from Mercedes. Styling aside, Ssangyong says the cabin is outfitted with standard leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.
According to Ssangyong CEO Yoo-il Lee, "The newly released Chairman H premium sedan enhances the luxury and class of the Chairman series, which has grown to become Korea's representative brand. Going forward, we are excited about developing into a global auto company and establishing ourselves as a world renowned brand through our strategic partnership with Mahindra."
No word on pricing or engine options, but the Chairman H will start arriving at Korean dealerships in May.
