For the family man who needs to go even faster.
G-Power has a reputation for making fast cars even faster. In the past, the German shop has worked its magic on performance cars like the BMW M3 and SUVs like the BMW X5. But now it's turning its attention to another German automaker; this upgraded Mercedes-AMG E63 S is what it calls a "wolf in sheep's clothing."
With a whopping 800 horsepower (588 kilowatts) and 737 pound-feet (1,000 Newton-meters) of torque on tap, this upgraded E63 S definitely lives up to its name. An extra 197 horses (146 kW) and 110 lb-ft (149 Nm) of torque were added to the factory model. Now the super wagon can sprint to 100 kilometers per hour (62 miles per hour) in 3.1 seconds, and on to a top speed of 211 miles per hour (340 kmh).
The upgrade includes G-Power Performance Software V1 at a special "35th Anniversary Edition" price. The software starts at just €2,437. New turbos (€5,000), stainless steel downpipes (€2,240), and stainless steel exhaust (€3,866) are also available as part of the upgrade.
On the outside, the E63 S doesn't look much different from the factory. It gets new 20-inch G-Power Hurricane wheels wrapped in 245/30 ZR20 and 285/25 ZR20 performance rubber (€6,681). G-Power says that even with the upgrades it "still has more than enough room for five passengers and their luggage."
The regular Mercedes-AMG E63 S wagon starts at $106,950. With more than $23,000 worth of upgrades, buyers will be staring down the barrel of a near $130,000 asking price. But for an 800-hp wagon, we'd argue that it's well worth the six-figure asking price. European buyers can order it from G-Power today. American buyers won't be able to get their hands on the upgrade, unfortunately.

A spacious station wagon with plenty of room for family and spare time, or a powerful sports car? Or to put it another way: reason or fun? Automobile enthusiasts are forced to make this decision again and again, and yet it is actually unnecessary. After all, there are various models from AMG, for instance, that offer both. Such as the E 63 S from the 212 series with a 585-HP and 800-Nm twin-turbo V8, which still has more than enough room for five passengers and their luggage.
For all the high speed junkies who want even more power than these eight cylinders deliver, G-POWER now has just the right solution. The specialists from Aresing in Upper Bavaria are eminently skilled at using software and hardware optimizations to give a boost to the performance of vehicles whose standard models come off the line with quite a bit of power. For instance, they enable the Mercedes-Benz E 63 S AMG to achieve an impressive 800 HP / 588 kW and 1,000 Nm!
Key Facts: G-POWER E 63 S AMG (S212)

Compared to the standard series models, this means adding a juicy 215 HP / 158 kW and 200 Nm of torque. One of the factors responsible for this is the G-POWER Performance Software V1, which is available during the anniversary year of 2018 at a reduced price of 2,437 euros for the “35th Anniversary EDITION”. When developing this software, G-POWER paid attention to keeping it perfectly compatible with the engine, of course, so as not to put too much strain on the engine. What is more, all protection and diagnostic functions have been retained. A top speed increase – costing only 434 euros in the “35th Anniversary EDITION” – has also been added to the V1 performance software. So you save 35 percent off the normal price in both cases.
The software optimizations are combined with several adjustments to the engine hardware: thanks to extensive modifications (5,000 euros) the two turbochargers have now been made considerably more powerful by using aerodynamically optimized turbine wheels and CNC machined housings. To these are added a stainless steel exhaust system (3,866 euros) connected to the power train with downpipes that are also stainless steel (2,240 euros).
All in all, the optimizations let the E 63 station wagon reach 100 km/h in only 3.1 seconds. The top speed can even outstrip 340 km/h! These figures are certain to put it on the same footing with elite super sports cars.
And finally, the G-POWER E 63 S AMG also visibly demonstrates that it is not merely your commonplace AMG. This is due primarily to the new set of wheels. The wheels spinning under the fenders are own-brand HURRICANE RR wheels. These 20” forged wheels with five classic double spokes sport high-performance 245/30 ZR20 and 285/25 ZR20 tires. The full set of wheels costs 6,681 euros.
