SsangYong has taken the wraps off the SUT 1 concept at the Geneva Motor Show.

Looking like a cross between the Chevrolet Avalanche and Subaru Baja, the SUT has rugged styling and a practical rear bed which should meet most your hauling needs. In terms of size, the concept measures 4,985mm long, 1,910mm wide and 1,755mm tall. Furthermore, the truck has a generous 3,060mm wheelbase which results in plenty of room for passengers and cargo.

Under the hood, power is provided by a new 2.0-liter diesel engine which is fully compliant with Euro 5 emission standards. Performance specifications haven't been announced, but the engine produces 155 PS (114 kW / 153 hp) and 360 Nm (266 lb-ft) of torque.

When it goes on sale in Europe in 2012, the SUT will be offered with six-speed transmissions (automatic and manual) as well as optional four-wheel drive.
