For the first time ever Lotus have added a Sport setting to the DPM (Dynamic Performance Management) traction control system.  It provides more intervention for less experienced drivers, while the ability to switch it off completely will please the more experienced drivers.

Lotus is also offering a more aggressive sport suspension with an adjustable anti-roll bar, Eibach springs and a set of Bilstein dampers.

Standard output remains the same at 136 PS (100 kW / 134 hp).  Standard  emissions is 149 g/km and consumption is a little over 5 liters/100 km on the extra-urban cycle.

Prices for the Lotus Elise Club Racer will start at £27,500 / €34,450 / CHF48,900 (Switzerland).
