Described as newly refined, the updated TL has revised styling and improved technology.

Following yesterday's teaser, Acura has officially unveiled the 2012 TL.

Described as "newly refined," the updated model boasts a new front fascia, a revised grille, restyled lighting units, smaller rear reflectors and a trapezoidal dual exhaust system. Furthermore, the Technology Package has an improved navigation system and the new Advance Package adds ventilated front seats and a blind spot information system.

As before, the entry-level model has front-wheel drive and a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 280 hp (209 kW / 284 PS). The Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) variant has a 3.7-liter V6 with 305 hp (227 kW / 309 PS). Despite the carryover engines, a new Sequential SportShift six-speed automatic transmission is available and it increases fuel-efficiency by approximately 3 mpg highway.
