In one fell swoop, Dodge has introduced their new R/T lineup at the Chicago Auto Show.
The Charger R/T features a "split crosshair" grille, a trick-rimmed steering wheel, and a retuned suspension. It is priced from $30,170 and is powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with 370 hp (276 kW / 375 PS) and 395 lb-ft (535 Nm) of torque.
On the other hand, the $35,465 Durango R/T boasts a unique front fascia, a lowered suspension, a sport-tuned exhaust, and 20-inch alloy wheels. Interior tweaks include "digital suede" seats, a 506-watt Alpine audio system, and red accent stitching. It is motivated by a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 that produces 360 hp (268 kW / 365 PS) and 390 lb-ft (520 Nm) of torque.
The "Man Van" Grand Caravan R/T has a body-color grille, body-color moldings, a sport suspension, and exclusive 17-inch wheels. Like the standard model, it is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 283 hp (211 kW / 287 PS) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. It goes on sale in spring for $30,595.
For the $28,995 Journey R/T, designers added a body-color grille, body-color door handles, and 19-inch aluminum wheels with a satin carbon finish. Inside, there's a unique shift knob, red / black cloth seats, and Uconnect Touch. It is also powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 283 hp (211 kW / 287 PS) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque.
Lastly, the Challenger R/T has a restyled grille and a front "duck bill" spoiler. Interior goodies include a thick-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, sport seats, and a race-inspired instrument cluster. Power comes from a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 which produces 376 hp (280 kW) and 410 lb-ft (556 Nm) with the six-speed manual and 372 hp (277 kW) and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) with the five-speed automatic. It is priced from $29,670 and is currently available at dealerships.
