In a quest to increase sales, Volvo will reduce their U.S. lineup to focus on "five or six" models. While this sounds contradictory, the company believes a smaller lineup will help them maximize their marketing efforts and increase consumer awareness.
Considering the brand currently sells nine vehicles in America, we can expect three or four models will be trimmed. Doug Speck, the President of Volvo North America, has already confirmed the V50 is a goner so that leaves two or three vehicles with a death sentence.
The S60, XC60 and XC90 are safe, but the V70 was recently axed so chances aren't looking good for the XC70. That likely leaves one or two other candidates, so what's your guess? The S80? The C70? The C30? Feel free to let us know in the comments.
