Chevrolet has unveiled the Camaro Convertible pace car for the Indianapolis 500.
Designed to mimic the 1969 version, the car features a Summit White exterior with orange racing stripes. Inside, there's color matching trim, orange leather seats and embossed headrests with the Indy 500 logo.
A total of fifty cars will be built and they are all 2SS models with a 400 hp (298 kW / 406 PS) 6.2-liter V8 engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. They come nicely equipped with Brembo brakes, HID headlights, and 20-inch polished aluminum wheels with high performance tires.
The first car will be auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction and all proceeds will be donated to the David Foster Foundation which supports families with children in need of life-saving organ transplants.
