Audi has a new toy.
Audi will be bringing the Auto Union Type C e-tron study to the 62nd International Toy Fair in Nuremberg which takes place next month.
The 1:2 scale 'toy' electric-car is for children but can also fit an adult up to 1.80 m (5'11"). It is 2.32 meters long (7.61 feet) and 97 cm wide (38.19 inches).
The toy prototype features a 1.5 PS (1.1 kW) electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery pack driving the rear wheels. The motor produces 40 Nm of torque (29.5 lb-ft) continuously, with brief peaks of 60 Nm (44.25 lb-ft), which can propel the car up to 30 km/h (19 mph). The car also has a reverse gear.
The Auto Union Type C e-tron has a range of about 25 km (15 miles). Charging takes around 2 hours and can be done from a standard 230 V outlet.
The International Toy Fair in Nuremberg runs from February 3 to 8.
