Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has confirmed the company will offer a 300 Hybrid in 2013.
The Chrysler Aspen Hybrid wasn't exactly successful, but CEO Sergio Marchionne has confirmed the company hasn't given up on gasoline-electric vehicles.
Speaking with Automotive News, the sweater aficionado stated a 300 Hybrid will be launched in 2013. Details are limited, but the model would likely use a hybridized version of the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 or 5.7-liter HEMI V8. Nothing is official, but the latter engine is the more likely candidate as the Two-Mode Hybrid system - that was jointly developed with Daimler, BMW, and GM - was originally built for the HEMI.
