Chevrolet has quietly introduced the Sail EV concept at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China.

Jointly-developed with the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC), the concept features a minimalist design with a Volt-inspired grille, flush door handles, and turbine-style wheels.

Motivation is provided by a small electric motor that produces 65 kW (87 hp / 88 PS) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of toque. It enables the car to hit a top speed of 130 km/h (81 mph) and travel up to 150 kilometers (93 miles) on a single charge.

While the vehicle won't go into production, Kevin Wale - President and Managing Director of the GM China - hinted "GM is committed to delivering a range of advanced propulsion technologies and offering a portfolio of solutions that will allow our customers to choose the vehicle that best meets their needs."
