After a four-year hiatus, Porsche has announced plans to return to the North American International Auto Show.
Details are limited, but Hans-Gerd Bode - Porsche's Press Manager - told Bloomberg "We'll have something spectacular to show there. You'll have to wait and be surprised."
Bode declined to elaborate, but early speculation suggests Porsche could introduce another version of the 918 Spyder concept. Nothing is official, but the model could be a coupe or a more production-ready concept.
Porsche previously released a photo of the 918 Spyder as a 1:3 scale clay model featuring a revised front end, hood, quarter panel and single side-fitted exhaust pipe on the right side of the supercar.
Regardless of what it is, stay tuned for full coverage beginning January 10th.
