Tuning package includes performance boosting for the G400 CDI V8 as well as extensive body and interior upgrades for the G-Class Benz.

If the box-on-wheels look is your thing, German tuner A.R.T. has the just the right model for you - the G-streetline Edition STERLING.

Based on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class G400 CDI V8 automatic, the tuning package provides for a considerable amount of change to warrant the new name.

First off is a performance upgrade for the diesel unit. Output is raised to 292 PS (215 kW) and 624 Nm of torque (series' 251 PS / 185 kW) by means of an ECU-remap. A.R.T. also adds a sport exhaust system with stainless-steel, side-mounted tailpipes - 3 on each side just before the rear wheelwell.

A wide-body kit is also part of the tuning package, including flared wheel arches, new front bumper with LEDs, a new bonnet with more air inlets, running boards, fender extensions with LEDs, new rear bumper with LED rear and fog lights and a roof spoiler with LED brake light. A.R.T. logos adorn the illuminated entry ledges on each of the five doors.

Yes, lots of new light fixtures and A.R.T. also replaces the main headlights with improved bi-Xenons and the turn indicators with an integrated LED light system.

A two tone outside finish is on offer - available in Magno blue-black or Designo Alanit-grey.

For the wheels, A.R.T. fits its own monoART1 light alloy 22-inch rims with 315/30R22 tires.

The interior finish gets no less attention. A nappa leather upholstery in British Racing Green and Designo Anthracite Gray compliment each other. There's also the carbon-fiber trimming for the dashboard, center console and door insides.

For the rear passengers (two seats only), there's A.R.T.'s own electrically adjusted seat system with a center console there too.
