Land Rover has unveiled the Freelander 2 SD4 Sport Limited Edition at the Bologna Motor Show.
Unique to this limited edition is a black-finished grill and side vents, new styling for the front corners, a rear spoiler, body-colored door handles and mirror caps, privacy glass and 19-inch alloy wheels in Shadow Chrome.
The Freelander 2 SD4 Sport Limited Edition comes in a selection of 3 exterior colors: Fuji White, Santorini Black or Firenze Red.
On the inside is a choice of two themes for the finish. An Ebony Windsor leather with contrasting Pimento stitching or the Ebony Napoli leather with a Windsor leather highlight stripe for the seats. There's also a Piano Black fascia finisher complimented by Ebony mats with a contrast edge in either Ivory or Pimento.
Under the hood is the standard 2.2-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine with 187 bhp (140 kW, 190 PS) but the Freelander 2 SD4 Sport Limited Edition comes only with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a Power Management System (IPMS) which recovers kinetic energy to charge the battery.
The Freelander 2 SD4 Sport Limited Edition goes on sale early next year.
Prices start at £33,945 and only 500 units will be made available for UK buyers.
