Opel has released the first pictures of the facelifted 2011 Antara.

While the changes are relatively minor, the updated model boasts a revised grille, a modified front fascia, and restyled taillights. Inside, there's a new center console, an electric parking brake, and higher quality materials.

Under the hood, a new 2.2-liter CDTI engine produces 120 kW (163 PS / 161 hp) and 135 kW (184 PS / 181 hp). If diesel isn't your thing, the 2.4-liter petrol cranks out 125 kW (170 PS / 168 hp). Regardless of what engine is selected, it will be mated to revised six-speed transmissions which have been optimized for efficiency and responsiveness.

No word on when the model will be launched, but expect to learn more in the coming weeks.
