Eos will get several engine variants in Europe but will come solely with a 200 PS (147 kW) 2.0 liter TSI in the United States.
VW has debuted the new Eos cabriolet at the Los Angeles auto show.
The new Eos comes with some styling changes to the front grill and bumper, with a new rear bumper and set of taillights too.
The facelifted Eos will be sold solely with the 200 PS (147 kW) 2.0 liter TSI power plant in the United States market. In Europe, it will be offered with TSI engines ranging in output from 122 PS / 90 kW to the 210 PS/155 kW of the European-spec 2.0 liter TSI. The new Eos will also come with a diesel in European markets, the 2.0 lite TDI with 140 PS (103 kW) which is good for a mileage rating of 4.8 liters/100 km with BlueMotion technology (which includes a stop/start system and regenerative braking).
Technology offered on the new Eos includes a keyless access system for the doors and ignition (start button instead), remote control opening and closing of the roof, as well as a park assist function.
The new Eos goes on sale in Europe in mid-January and will be available in the United States in March.
