The millionth Range Rover has rolled off the assembly line in Solihull, England. It will be auctioned off to support Help for Heroes.
A few months after turning 40, the millionth Range Rover has rolled off the assembly line in Solihull, England.
The car, a Range Rover Autobiography, was presented to Tope Gear's Jeremy Clarkson on behalf of the charity Help for Heroes. It will be auctioned off in an effort to raise nearly $140,000 to provide assistance to wounded service people and their families.
According to Phil Popham, Land Rover's Managing Director, "Land Rover is very proud to support the Help for Heroes charity by donating the one millionth Range Rover. Everyone involved in Land Rover - from the management, to the employees at Solihull, to the original Range Rover team - will be happy we're able to mark this landmark occasion in such a way after the 40 years of producing this iconic vehicle."
