Chevrolet has unveiled the Corvette Z06X and Jake Edition concepts at SEMA.

First and foremost, the Z06X Track Car concept shows how enthusiasts can use performance parts to build a weekend racer.  Created with the assistance of Pratt and Miller Engineering, the car started out as a standard Z06 (with the 1LZ, Z07 and CFZ equipment packages) and was outfitted with an adjustable carbon fiber rear wing, a polycarbonate rear window, and lightweight racing wheels. Additional goodies include a retuned suspension, a revised air intake, an enhanced cooling system, and an SCCA-spec roll cage.

The Jake Edition is based on the Grand Sport Coupe and features Z06 wheels, a matte Jake hood graphic, and a rear spoiler. Inside, there's Ebony leather (with titanium contrast stitching), a racing pedal kit, Jake embroidered accents, and glossy black trim.
