Subaru has announced plans to bring Tommi Makinen's WRX STI to SEMA.

As you may recall, Makinen piloted the 305 hp (227 kW / 309 PS) car around the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 55 seconds.  He beat Subaru's previous record, set in 2004, by four seconds.

Besides the Nürburgring car, the company will also display Travis Pastrana's WRX STI, the Get More G's SPT WRX STI, the Kicker Audio WRX STI, the K&N Performance WRX STI, and Jamarri Whiteside's 2006 WRX STI which won best in show at Subiefest.
