Designed to compete with the Maserati Quattroporte and Porsche Panamera, the BEH will be based on the Audi A7 Sportback and feature styling cues from the 2011 Continental GT.
Bentley. Entry-level. Hatchback. Three words you never thought you'd see together, but apparently it's coming.
While Audi underpinnings might sound a little lowbrow, the aluminum chassis will enable the car to tip the scales at roughly 1,700kg (3,750 lbs). This should result in lively performance, especially thanks to all-wheel drive and Bentley's new turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine with approximately 450 hp (336 kW / 456 PS).
No word on when to expect the new model, but pricing will likely start around £85,000 ($136,200 USD / €96,820).
