Chevrolet has announced plans to introduce the Camaro Convertible at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

On sale in February, the drop top will be available with a 312 hp (233 kW/ 316 PS) 3.6-liter V6 and a 426 hp (318 kW / 432 PS) 6.2-liter V8. A six-speed manual will be standard, while a six-speed automatic is optional.

Pricing will start at $30,000 which sounds a little steep considering the Mustang Convertible goes for $27,995. Will the $2,005 difference be worth it? Only time will tell.
