Ram Truck has unveiled the range-topping Laramie Longhorn Edition at the Texas State Fair.

Designed to compete with the GMC Sierra Denali and Ford F-Series King Ranch, the LLE features exclusive White Gold lower-body paint, a chrome grille and 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels (2500 and 3500 models have polished aluminum wheels).

Inside, the luxurious cabin has leather upholstery, burled walnut trim and saddlebag-inspired rear seat pockets. Other goodies include heated / ventilated front seats, a revised shifter and all-weather floor mats with polished Ram Laramie Longhorn logos.

According to Ryan Nagode, Design Program Lead, "We took Ram Laramie Longhorn's design cues from traditionally handcrafted, time-tested wares, such as the antique pocket watch, a fine pair of hand-tooled leather cowboy boots, a collector's-grade shotgun or a horseman's saddle. The metal work and leather work are second to none."

Available in a number of configurations, the Laramie Longhorn will go on sale in the first quarter of 2011.
