Land Rover has released new information about the Range Rover Evoque.
Inspired by the LRX concept, the three-door crossover features an aggressive front end, a rising beltline, and LED taillights. Inside there's a wide center console, an 8-inch touchscreen and a Jaguar-like gear selector (for automatic models).
Three different trim levels will be offered. The entry-level Pure features cloth upholstery and brushed aluminum trim. Moving up to the Prestige adds 19-inch wheels, wood trim and a two-tone leather interior. The Dynamic boasts an aerodynamic body kit, 19-inch wheels and perforated leather seats.
In terms of technology, the Evoque offers Bluetooth/iPod/USB connectivity, a 17-speaker Meridian audio system, GPS navigation, and a rear seat entertainment system.
Under the hood, the 2.2-liter turbodiesel produces 150 PS (110 kW / 148 hp) and 190PS (140 kW / 187 hp). The turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol churns out 240 PS (177 kW / 237 hp).
On sale next fall, the Range Rover Evoque will be sold in more than 160 countries.
