Seat has released new information about the redesigned 2011 Alhambra.
Essentially a rebadged Volkswagen Sharan, the MPV features sleek styling, sliding rear doors and 16-inch wheels.
Inside, two different trim levels are offered. The entry-level Reference has a four-speaker audio system, sliding rear seats (with an 'Easy Fold' function), and a cooled glove compartment. Moving up to the Style adds tri-zone climate control, an eight-speaker audio system (with USB / Aux-in connectivity), a leather gearknob, chrome interior inserts, and a power driver seat.
Engine options include a 150 hp (112 kW / 152 PS) 1.4-liter TSI, a 140 hp (104 kW / 142 PS) 2.0-liter TDI, and a slightly more powerful 2.0-liter TDI with 170 hp (127 kW / 172 PS). Later on, Seat will introduce a 2.0 TSI with 200 hp (149 kW / 203 PS).
