Smart and MINI are planning to introduce plug-in electric scooter concepts at the Paris Motor Show.
While details are limited, the Smart scooter will have a streamlined appearance with futuristic design cues. It will reportedly be powered by a lithium-ion battery which will enable it to travel up to 60 miles (96 km) on a single charge. Production is a possibility, but consumer interest remains to be seen.
MINI, on the other hand, will display three retro-inspired scooters. They will feature yellow accents (from the MINI E), a lithium-ion battery, and a retractable charging cord.
More information will be released later this month, so stay tuned to WCF for continuing coverage.
