Berlin based MEC Design has announced a subtle yet tasty styling and performance package for the Mercedes C63 AMG with the Performance Package Plus (series: 487 PS / 358 kW; torque 600Nm / 443 lb-ft).
The Mercedes-Benz tuner's material of choice is undoubtedly carbon fiber as the standard AMG front bumper fascia is upgraded with a lower lip spoiler and air vents on the sides. Also in carbon fiber are the rear spoiler and rear bumper diffuser.
On the inside, carbon fiber trim pieces are found on the seat shells lower base, door trim panels, center console, instrument cluster surround and the sports steering wheel. Ad don't forget the MEC DEsign floor mats.
For wheels, MEC starts with their signature alloys, mecxtremeIII one piece 9x20 with 3mm spacers front and 7mm spacers rear. Tire size is 235/30 ZR 20.
In the performance department MEC adds to the 6.3-liter (6208cc) V8 engine a stainless steel exhaust system starting from the exhaust manifold. The exhaust system also includes sport/racing catalytic converters. Rounding out the performance package are the sports air filter and ECU reprogramming which deacticvates the 250km/h speed-limit.
The end results, 600PS (441 kW / 592 bhp) and 700Nm (516 lb-ft) torque - a 113PS (83 kW / 111 bhp) increase.
