New 6.2 liter V8 from the the F-150 SVT Raptor and Super Duty delivers 411 bhp (306 kW) and 434 lb-ft (588 Nm) of torque.

Ford has announced the new Harley-Davidson F-150 for the North American market.

This latest iteration of the special edition model gets a significant bump in power - up from the 2010's 320 bhp and 390 lb-ft. The new 6.2 liter V8 fitted into the Harley-Davidson F-150, already introduced in the F-150 SVT Raptor and Super Duty, is good for 411 bhp (306 kW) and 434 lb-ft (588 Nm) of torque.

"The new 2011 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 perfectly blends the flexibility and capability of F-Series trucks with the free spirit of Harley-Davidson motorcycles," said the model's chief engineer, Eric Kuehn.

The Harley-Davidson F-150 will feature a new front fascia and chrome grille that references the storied motorcycle brand's look - including Harley-Davidson satin chrome badges, which also serve as model identification on the hood and body. The model rides on 22-inch Euroflange forged wheels fitted with performance tires. The paint finish selection is distinctly Harley-Davidson - Tuxedo Black or Ingot Silver.

Tech goodies inside include a 4.2-inch LCD screen, a voice-activated navigation system, remote start system, a power moonroof and a rear-view camera.

Optional is also a SelectShift Automatic for a more adaptable transmission for the driver. Each model comes with a special serial number plate inside the cabin for this limited edition.

Prices were not announced.
