The 2019 Hyundai Veloster will “play a significant role” in the upcoming superhero movie “Ant-Man and the Wasp” – a film based on the Marvel Comics characters Scott Lang / Ant-Man and Hope van Dyne / Wasp, which is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 6 this year. The sports vehicle’s appearance in the movie is part of the global marketing campaign supporting its market launch.
“Similar to Marvel’s passionate fans, the Hyundai Veloster attracts customers who are always looking for that next extraordinary moment and yearn for new discoveries and opportunities,” Dean Evans, CMO, Hyundai Motor America, explains. “With both the Veloster and Ant-Man thriving on individuality, we feel this partnership is a great fit and we’re excited to be accompanying Marvel on their next adventure.”
The South Korean automaker promises the new Veloster will be used on screen in hot pursuits, proving its “capabilities in serving as the ultimate escape vehicle.” That’s actually all Hyundai has to say about the car’s Hollywood debut, but we are already excited of what’s coming.

“The Veloster totally exemplifies the energetic, no-holds-barred attitude that accompanies this franchise, and we’re going to have a lot of fun working with Hyundai to see how we can share that mindset with fans all around the world,” Mindy Hamilton, Marvel’s SVP of Global Partnerships and Marketing, said.
The 2019 Veloster won’t be the only Hyundai to be featured in the new movie when it hits the theaters this summer. Without going into further details, the manufacturer only confirms “other Hyundai vehicles” will also be part of the film.
