Carlsson takes a lesson from Aston Martin; the tuned Smart C25 Edition is a 30k euro smart car only available to owners of the Super GT C25. Details inside.
German tuning firm Carlsson Autotechnik has revealed their latest project, the Carlsson Smart C25 Edition. Inspired by the look and feel of their Super GT C25, the Mercedes-focused engineering team worked out about €15,000 worth of upgrades for the Smart ForTwo.
Beginning with a ForTwo Pulse Cabriolet Turbo, the company realigned the wheels after lowering the suspension by 15mm in the front and 35mm in the rear. A front spoiler, LED daytime running lights, blackened grille elements, dark headlight lenses, and new rear valance were all added. Also available is a quiet stainless steel exhaust with quad tailpipes, and new EVO Black Edition wheels, measuring either 7" x 16" or 7.5" x 17". The wheels come wrapped in Vredestein Sportrac III tires.
Aside from a host of optional logos and badging, the company has also developed several items for the interior. This includes nappa leather and Alcantara two-tone upholstery with matching door panels inserts and sports seats, an aluminum hand brake, and custom trunk and floor mats.
What helps distinguish this car from others is the C25 Colour Concept kit, with its matte paint exterior using graphite silver, glossy black, and speed orange, matte black coloring for the wheels, and orange matte interior trim.
With the base car, the Carlsson Smart C25 Edition retails for €29,301. The price includes labor, paint, parts and applicable sales taxes. Unfortunately, it appears the full package will only be available as a daily driver for owners of the 25-unit limited edition Carlsson C25 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG.
