New flagship Bentley takes a stroll in Edinburgh and Scottish countryside. The Mulsanne comes comes with a twin-turbocharged 6.75 liter V8 producing 512 PS (505 bhp / 377 kW) and 1020 Nm (752 lb-ft) of torque.
Here we get to see Bentley's new flagship model the Mulsanne in action for the first time.
The footage is of the stately Mulsanne surveying the scenery in Edinburgh and the Scottish countryside. The ultra-luxury car is taking more of a stroll here and not really flexing its considerable muscle at all given that it comes with a twin-turbocharged 6.75 liter V8 with 512 PS (505 bhp / 377 kW) and 1020 Nm (752 lb-ft) of torque.
The Mulsanne is in its final stages of testing and from this promotional video we can gather that a first production date can't be too far off.
But for models such as the Mulsanne, production is a different concept. It takes 98 "team members" to assemble a Mulsanne and the car must go through a rigorous procedure of around 2,000 checks before it is declared properly built.
First deliveries will take place sometime this summer. Price for the Mulsanne in the U.K. is £220,000 (€255,000). The U.S. MSRP is $285,000 not including taxes and delivery charges.
