Check out some of the new products being developed by Mercedes-Benz Style, including the just-launched EC145 helicopter.

German automaker Mercedes-Benz has created a new Style division of elite products that focus on furniture, lifestyle, and transportation.  Amongst the new line of merchandise is a helicopter with a Mercedes-designed interior.

The Eurocopter EC145 chopper was presented for the first time this week at Geneva's European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition.  Interior features include a flat panel video screen, leather seating, and a modular design to allow for a mix of cargo and personal space.  In addition to the wood floors and ceiling, the cabin uses ambient lighting inspired by the automaker's E- and S-Class cars.

As opposed to the EC145, which features only interior Mercedes styling, the luxury yacht seen in these renderings features an exterior designed by the automaker.  The boat sports luxury wood planking, possibly made from the same oak wood seen on the automaker's CL-class vehicles.

Furniture offerings from Mercedes-Benz Style could include an innovative rocking chair that sways on wheels between the chair and legs, as opposed to rails.  Other products include a birch wood lounge chair with a technogel cushion and LED reading lights, and an unusual looking deck chair.

Like the EC145, it appears most products will be built in cooperation with other companies.  Some of the products will be sold through Mercedes-Benz Accessories, but it is not yet clear if Mercedes-Benz Style will offer its own catalogue much like Porsche Design.
