All-electric version of the Fiat 500 Abarth will be quicker on the sprint than the standard model. Atomik Cars will produce a limited series of 50 units of the Atomik 500.
Atomik Cars has finally released some real images of its all-electric version of the Fiat 500 Abarth to add to the set of lunar pics we saw last time.
The Atomik 500 is a lithium-ion battery-powered, all-electric, all-wheel drive version of the Fiat 500 Abarth which the French tuner recently unveiled at the Top Marques Monaco show in April. Those batteries also include a phosphate component which allow them to last longer but making them a little weightier.
This electric Fiat 500 Abarth sports some impressive figures. The 0-100 km/h sprint wraps things up in a neat 5.6 seconds (almost 1.5 seconds quicker than the standard Abarth 500) while top speed is estimated at somewhere north of 180 km/h (112 mph). Unfortunately, Atomik Cars provides no range or power figures for this vehicle.
For the aesthetics, the tuner provides a Beetle-like front bumper, as well as fog lights and new wheels with bigger arches for them.
Atomik Cars will produce a limited series of 50 units of the Atomik 500.
