Our spies have taken new pictures of the 2012 Hyundai Veloster.

While still heavily camouflaged, we can partially see the lighting units, the center-mounted exhaust and the sloping roofline. More importantly, our spy photographer was able to capture an image of the interior.

Inside, the Veloster has a symmetrical dash with a prominent center stack. Other goodies include a Dimension audio system, chrome door handles, heated seats, a push-button ignition, a large LCD display and sporty small size steering wheel.

Power will likely be provided by a naturally-aspirated 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 90 kW (121 hp / 122 PS) and 155 Nm (114 lb-ft) of torque. A turbocharged 131 kW (175 hp / 177 PS) engine is also expected.

As we have previously reported, the Veloster concept debuted at the 2007 Seoul Motor Show. The production version will be available in three- and five-door guise, with a base price of less than $22,000 (€16,500 / £14,300).
