While details are limited, the Accent will adopt the same "fluidic sculpture" design as the 2011 Sonata. It features four-door coupe styling, sweptback headlights, a bold grille, and rearview mirrors with integrated LED turn signals. Out back, the design is more restrained with conventional taillights and a chrome bar on the trunk.
As we reported a few days ago, we ran another photo of the Hyundai Accent / Verna, but mistakenly identified the car as the redesigned Elantra. The Accent's cabin will feature angular door pulls, two large instrument pods, and an attractive dashboard with metal accents and black trim.
Engine options remain a bit of mystery, but expect to see several petrol and diesel units.
