We have a few candid shots of the SLR Stirling Moss on the streets of Barcelona. The story inside.
Somebody at Daimler must have been a big fan of recent photos showing the Audi A1 S-line in Barcelona's Raval district. The company has been working on a new video shoot for the Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss Edition a few kilometers away from the A1 location, and close to scenes used in a video of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
Sitting in the car is former McLaren driver and two-time F1 champion Mika Häkkinen. Also spotted nearby was a tacky and hideous Opel Astra Coupe, as well as a wannabe Ferrari look-a-like, that appears to be a dressed up Toyota Supra.
Video of the upcoming supercar in Barcelona should be released in the coming months. The Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss Edition is limited to 75 units, with a retail price of €750,000. It is capable of a 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
