The Murano features a 2.5-liter dCi four-cylinder engine with direct injection and a diesel particle filter.
Nissan has announced plans to launch a diesel-powered Murano in the UK.
Set to go on sale in September, the Murano features a 2.5-liter dCi four-cylinder engine with direct injection and a diesel particle filter. Producing 190 PS (140 kW / 187 hp) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque, the engine is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission and Nissan's ALL MODE 4x4 system.
The boldly styled crossover has 'Scratch Shield' paint, chrome roof rails, and a power-operated tailgate. Inside, the cabin boasts leather upholstery, aluminum trim, heated seats (front and rear), ambient mood lighting, and a power-adjustable steering wheel (rake and reach). Tech features include GPS navigation, side and rear parking cameras, Bluetooth connectivity, and an 11-speaker Bose sound system.
According to Nissan's European Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing, Simon Thomas, "The introduction of the diesel to our Murano comes at a time when Nissan is reinforcing its leadership as the pioneering Crossover brand in the automotive industry. Murano was, of course, the first Crossover in our range and now that this second generation model has a diesel engine option, its appeal will be even wider on the European market."
