With spring just around the corner, Renault has unveiled the Megane Coupe-Cabriolet in Geneva.

Set to become the sixth Megane body type, the Coupe-Cabriolet features familiar styling with an unusual twist. Unlike many contemporary hardtop convertibles, the Megane CC features a glazed folding glass roof which covers an area of 0.47 square meters (5 square feet). While it isn't very attractive, owners can hide the roof - in about 21 seconds - with a push of a button.

Under the hood, engine options include three diesel and three petrol units. Choices include TCe 130, the 2.0 16V, the dCi 110 FAP, and the dCi 130 FAP. They will be backed up by a six-speed manual, a CVT (continuously variable transmission), or Renault's new six-speed EDC dual-clutch automatic.

Look for the redesigned Megane Coupe-Cabriolet to start arriving at dealerships this summer.
