A Lotus Evora Carbon Concept is now on show at the Lotus stand in Geneva. As suggested by the name, many of its parts are carbon fibre-based.

Lotus presents the Evora Carbon Concept at the 80th Geneva Motor Show. As the name suggests, carbon fibre has played a starring role in its equipment and fittings. The exterior is coated in a water based white pearlesent paint in order to contrast with the weave on the carbon fibre panels.

"The design of the Evora Carbon Concept car features exotic, high tech materials that offer a good synergy with the Lotus brand image, expressing our motorsport heritage and history of stylish sports cars for which Lotus are renowned," said Donato Coco, Director of Lotus Design.

The interior features carbon fibre panels with perforated leather and matt Alcantara. For instance, the dashboard, footwell and inner roof are covered in Alcantara, while exposed carbon fibre can be seen on the centre console, air vents and others.

It sports a carbon fibre roof, 19-inch alloy wheels with 235/35 front and 285/30 rear Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tyres.
