We have the first teaser image and details of VW's latest MPV, the 2011 Volkswagen Sharan.

Volkswagen is letting their MPV show a bit of skin in advance of its debut.  A new teaser image of the 2011 Volkswagen Sharan has shown up on VW's German website a little more than a week before its scheduled introduction in Geneva.

The all-new second-generation MPV has a front end design in line with VW's current design paradigm as seen in VW's newest models.  In addition, the MPV also looks to be sitting on a new set of wheels.  NO detials have been released so far, but it's expected to feature a third row bench and sliding rear doors.

The new Volkswagen Sharan is expected to be released on the market in July.  Currently, the MPV is not sold in North America.  Instead, the Chrysler based Town and Country badged as the Routan is currently on offer.  There is speculation the Sharan will replace the Routan in North America eventually.
