Subaru has announced plans to introduce the Impreza XV at the Geneva Motor Show.

Set to go on sale this summer, the XV is based on the five-door Impreza and measures 4,430mm long, 1,770mm wide, and 1,520mm tall (with a 2,620mm wheelbase). It has unique crossover styling (which consists of a new grille, redesigned wheel arches, roof rails, and a roof-mounted spoiler) and is powered by a horizontally-opposed 2.0-liter petrol or a turbo-diesel Boxer engine.

Subaru will also display the Hybrid Tourer concept, which originally debuted at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. Featuring a sleek design with gullwing doors, the concept has a luxurious cabin that offers individual seating for four. Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol engine and two electric motors.

Look for more information to be released next month, when the Impreza XV is officially unveiled.
