Fernando Alonso on Monday made his debut in official team wear as Ferrari's traditional winter pre-season event kicked off at the Madonna di Campiglio ski resort in northern Italy.

Arriving for the event known as 'Wrooom' in a helicopter, the Spaniard was dressed in a team jacket bearing the prominent signage of the Spanish bank Santander.

Joining the action as per usual is the jointly Marlboro-sponsored Italian MotoGP team Ducati, and about 100 members of the international media.

On Tuesday, the drivers and riders - including Felipe Massa and F1 reserve Giancarlo Fisichella - will take to the ski slopes, while the Spanish media in particular looks forward to speaking to 28-year-old Alonso for the first time as a fully-fledged Ferrari driver.
