Toyota has announced plans to introduce two modified Prius hybrids at the SEMA Motor Show.
Dubbed the Aerius (Latin for "belonging to the air") and Aemulus (meaning "envious imitation"), the cars feature a Five Axis Design four-piece aero kit (which includes a front lip spoiler, new side skirts, and a rear lower valance), a 3D Carbon body kit, and 19-inch FIVE:AD wheels (the Aemulus rides on stock wheels) outfitted with Yokohama Super E-Spec low rolling resistance tires. Other goodies include crystalline tinted windows and a sky-inspired paint scheme by Nippon Color Design Studio America.
Inside, the Aerius boasts 100 percent recycled seat fabrics, "eco-recycled resin interior accents," a 900-watt Pioneer audio system, and dual headrest-mounted Vizualogic 7-inch rear entertainment units.
