The base Frontier S King Cab model can be had for $18,990.
The Nissan Frontier may be one of the oldest offering in the small pickup segment – on the market in its current form since about 2004 – but it remains a solid option nonetheless. The automaker today announced pricing for the 2018 model, which sees a small $600 bump from the 2017 version, not including the $965 destination and handling fee.
Available in both King and Crew Cab trims, the Frontier comes powered by either a 4.0-liter V6 delivering 261 horsepower (194 kilowatts) and 281 pound-feet (380 Newton-meters) of torque, or a 152-horsepower (113-kilowatt) 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine. The latter is available on the King Cab trim only.

The base Frontier S King Cab 4x2 with an inline four-cylinder engine and a five-speed manual gearbox can be had for just $18,990, up some from the 2017’s base $18,390 MSRP. With a five-speed automatic that same model can be had for a hefty $22,410. The Frontier King Cab tops out at $32,780 for the Pro-4X trim with standard four-wheel drive and a five-speed automatic.
For the Crew Cab model, expect to pay a bit more. The base Frontier S Crew Cab with two-wheel drive and a six-speed manual gearbox costs $24,300. A total of 12 different variations are available for the crew cab model, the most expensive being the SL Crew Cab with four-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox, which retails for $36,150.
