Buyers can get options like ballistic armor and nightvision, too.
If you don’t want to show up to the local off-road trails or sand dunes with the usual Jeep Wrangler or Toyota Land Cruiser, check out Rezvani’s new high-performance SUV – the Tank. This military-inspired SUV doesn’t pack any firepower, but it has plenty of horsepower from the 6.4-liter V8 pumping out 500 horsepower (373 kilowatts) and 430 pound-feet (583 Newton-meters) of torque. Plus, the options like the thermal camera and ballistic armor let owners feel like they have battle-ready SUV.
Rezvani claims that the Tank’s design takes inspiration from military vehicles, but the shape looks far more futuristic than anything on the battlefield. Bulging fenders and a highly contoured hood dominate the front end. An extremely short overhang makes for an easier time climbing over obstacles, too. A roof-mounted LED light bar provides extra illumination at night.
Despite the rugged exterior, the interior can be quite luxurious. Rezvani has an optional package that fits leather upholstery and a suede headliner. A head-up display keeps important info in front of the driver, and there’s a 7.9-inch infotainment system with support for Google Maps, Pandora, Stitcher, and more apps.
Rezvani offers two off-road packages that make the Tank even more capable in the dirt. The standard suite of upgrades adds a six-inch lift and Fox 2.5-inch remote reservoir shocks. The firm also fits the Dynatrac ProRock 44/60 axle set with E-lockers. The extra height also lets Rezvani install a set of 37-inch off-road tires.
The Off-Road Extreme Package adds hardcore features like a Dynatrac ProRock XD60/80 axle set with air lockers and an air compressor. Plus, there are Dynatrac ProGrip front and rear brakes, and Fox’s 2.5-inch Internal Bypass Shocks with the company’s Dual Speed Compression tech.
If personal safety is a major concern, the optional ballistic armor package should alleviate some of those fears. It includes Kevlar armor, bullet-resistant glass, military-grade run-flat tires, and extra protection around the fuel tank, radiator, and floor pan.
Prices for the Tank start at $178,500. Clients can reserve one now, and the first deliveries should start before the end of the year.
