It's the most handsome Lego build we've ever seen.
Lego vehicle ideas come and go. We’ve seen everything from a Nissan GT-R Nismo, to a full-sized McLaren 720S. But this latest build is probably one of our favorites – it’s a handsome AC Cobra 427 that look nearly identical to the production version in which it replicates.
The 1:14 Lego scale model comes with features like a fully working steering system, an adjustable steering wheel, a working mini V8 piston engine, a front and rear independent suspension, a lever on the dashboard that opens the hood, and doors and trunks that can be opened. It’s about as detailed as it gets when it comes to Lego scale models.
"I would like to introduce you to my latest and most complex project, The AC Cobra 427, my all time favorite car," says the builder, user Shimon430. "It was a huge challenge to recreate all the beautiful curves of this car keeping it sturdy and solid. I have tried to put as much functions as possible, having to combine both Technic and System."

Of course, the build is modeled after the original AC Cobra 427 which was first introduced in 1965. The full-sized model came powered by a 7.0-liter V8 delivering 425 horsepower (317 kilowatts), and allowing for a top speed of 164 miles per hour (262 kilometers per hour) in the standard trim, and 485 hp (362 kW) and a top speed of 185 mph (298 kmh) in the competition variant.
So far the build has garnered a mere 369 supporters out of the 10,000 needed for it to become a Lego kit you can actually buy. But don’t worry, there are still 421 days left to support the project – plenty enough time to bring the vehicle from concept to reality.
