For an extra £599 ($780), your dog can have a barking good time.

Every dog has its day, and in the case of Nissan’s new "Paw Pack" option, that day is today. The aptly named package comes available on any X-Trail SUV in the U.K, and draws heavy inspiration from the X-Trail 4Dogs concept (and the Rogue Dogue concept) that was first introduced in February. These new family and dog-friendly add-ons help transform the X-Trail into the ultimate road trip and adventure vehicle.

Available to buyers in the U.K., the accessory kit comes with a number of new elements, including a dog guard trunk separator, and a ramp for smaller or less mobile dogs for easy entry into the trunk. Along with the two features already mentioned, the Paw Pack also includes a machine-washable dog bed, a non-spill water bowl, and a trunk liner to protect the X-Trail’s upholstery from any unforeseen… messes.

The Nissan X-Trail can be had for £23,385 ($30,455) in the U.K., and the Paw Pack tacks on an extra £599 ($780). Even without the optional pet-friendly package, the Nissan X-Trail comes loaded with standard features like hands-free functionality for the electric tailgate, adaptive LED headlights, new 18-inch wheels, and a handful of new exterior colors.

In the cabin, the company has also introduced its new ProPILOT semi-autonomous driving system, which is said to "control the steering, acceleration, and braking in a single lane on highways during heavy traffic congestion and high-speed cruising." That same technology will be available on the new Nissan Leaf when it debuts later in the week.
