Renault unveiled a new electric vehicle concept today. Photos and details of the Renault Fluence Z.E. Concept are inside.

Renault introduced the new Renault Fluence Z.E. concept today.  The vehicle shows Renault's intention to produce more "zero emission" vehicles for all different types of customers.

This vehicle is an all-electric that can travel for 160 kilometers on a single charge.  Once the battery is dried up, in can receive either a three minute recharge, to provide you just enough juice to get home, or a 20-minute charge so you can stop at the grocery store on your way back from work.  A full recharge will take four to eight hours, depending on the power outlet's voltage.  Solar paneling is also built in, to reduce the need for electricity from the grid.

Meant for the family man, the Fluence Z.E. is meant to be a daily-driver for work commutes, with the possibility of loading up the family for a holiday weekend.  You'll like the 21-inch wheels; the family will like the built in video screens and triple-zone climate control.  The cool looking car has a flowing exterior with a relaxing blue-toned interior.  LED lights are found at the front and back.

The vehicle uses a 70 kilowatt electric motor that produces a maximum 226 Nm of torque.  Top speed and sprint times were not disclosed.
